Using this app does not create any advisor-client relationship.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using JustArrived ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

JustArrived is a mobile application that helps immigrants navigate their settlement journey in Canada. The App provides:

Step-by-step settlement task guides
Document storage and management
Local resources directory
Community forum and events
Progress tracking tools
Community-suggested resources (moderated before publication)

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
You must provide accurate information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must not share your account credentials with others
One account per person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Post content that is harassing, threatening, or discriminatory
Share false or misleading information
Spam or send unsolicited messages
Upload malicious files or harmful content
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Use the App for any illegal purpose
Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the App

5. Community Guidelines

When participating in the forum and events:

Be respectful and constructive
Do not share others' personal information without consent
Report inappropriate content using the in-app reporting feature
Content may be moderated or removed at our discretion

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (posts, replies, event listings)
You grant JustArrived a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and store your content within the App
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content
We may remove content that violates these Terms or community guidelines
Resource suggestions are reviewed by our team before being published to the directory

7. Documents & Information

You are solely responsible for the documents you upload
JustArrived does NOT verify the accuracy or validity of uploaded documents
JustArrived is NOT an immigration advisory service
The App does NOT provide legal, immigration, financial, or medical advice
Information provided in the App is for general guidance only
Always consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and original content are owned by JustArrived
You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without permission
Third-party resources listed in the App are owned by their respective providers

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information
That the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
That resources or services listed are current or available
Any specific outcome from using the App

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustArrived shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support
We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms — immediately and without prior notice for serious violations (such as harassment, hate speech, or attempts to access other users' data)
If you believe your content or account was removed in error, contact support@justarrived.app
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of British Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
